Have you read the readme? If so, you'll notice that you simply need to edit the target line of your shortcut so that it reads like this:

"..\Program files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@CBA_CO;@I44 -nosplash

Nobody knows, not even the developers.

They are gonna fix some things in I44 for ARMA2, and add some new stuff that is portable to ARMA 3(If memory serves me well.)

So for now, I suggest you just enjoy the ARMA2:OA version, as the ARMA 3 one will not be here for quite a while most likely.

i'm having serious problems running this mod successfully... I run it thru Steam.. Steam used to have a ' play combined ops ' button, which has long been removed.

playwithsix does NOT have this mod listed. I used the old sixupdater and it trys to update or repair the mod, but fails everytime..

the version I downloaded is ver. 2.666 from armaholic or mod.db can't remember which one.. it was the ver.2.666 standalone.

I try and launch the game thru a launcher and select CBA_CO and I44 as the only two addons.

I get a whole bunch of error messages like ' xxx requires an addon Utes to be installed ", and can't find this plant texture, or can't find this.... I get a black dialog box that pops up when i'm playing a multiplayer game like merderet river... it displays a bunch of error messages...

I need to find a way to successfully launch combined ops mode thru steam, and find out why the mod isn't working correctly...

any suggestions on what mod launcher to use that will allow me to select both the I44 and cba_co mods and correctly launch the game in combined ops mode?

Steam doesn't launch combined ops anymore if you use a -mod= line in the parameters. One option is to remove the tag and enable the addons ingame.

Though, I just checked and it is on PWS, it's listed as @I44, make sure you have combined ops selected as your active game (double click), go to the browse menu and use the search box at the top.

I know if you don't use PWS, and use other launchers or steam, you have to use the arrowhead exe and it automatically runs arma as well. Like bhaz said, you can install the mods in game or just use a launcher. Anyways, if Arma is installed and you use arrowhead to start the game it combines it naturally.

The PWS is wayyyy too confusing to use so I don't anymore.

Any server hosts having issues with I44 on latest Steam patch 1.63.125548?

I keep getting a LOT of RPT error spam with undefined variables resulting in server crash.

Also throwing loads of "Bad conversion: scalar" into the RPT after erroring

These are from two launch attempts of a dedicated server on Arma2OA 1.63.125548 Steam version, mods loaded via modline -mod=@CBA_CO;@I44;

Each time the server ran for 5-10 minutes before crashing.

Any more insight or a is there a hotfix en route for the undefined vars ? :)

If the Invasion1944 dev's need assistance with this I am available, I'd rather not touch your code without permission.

hey is there a way to heal AI soldiers? trying to make a mission but pretty annoying when a squad leader gets injured and slows down the rest of the squad when moving to new waypoints?

Hey mate, unfortunately the ai- medics in this mod are broken and there's no way to get them heal friendlies without fiddling around with the mod- files, what might cause problems in Multiplayer- sessions...

If you want it for SP, send me a pm as the changes themselves aren't hard to do once you know what to look for.

PacUk hasn't been on the forum here since May, and on their forums I44, he hasn't been on since May 9th, obviously hes not the whole team but still

hes one of the head guys of I44, so something going on in real life i'd assume thats why he hasn't been on.

The I44 forums are just getting spammed to hell with google bots, making posts about kitchen cabinets, porn ect,. its a real mess, and both the news threads official news and

ArmA3: Invasion 1944 news have been locked.

All the i44 devs on the forum haven't been on since June which was the latest, and that was one guy.

Even gnat here hasn't been on in months, idk I dont want to say I44 is dead but with the whole I44 team gone as long as they have been, I think its best to just wait and see what happens,

people got to understand and this has been repeated several times from many modders, that modders have real lives, we're all doing this "work" on our free

time aside our jobs and family, and whatever else.

Modding is a very tasking, tedious, time consuming interest and it can be easy to get burnt out, it can be easy to lose motivation, it gets to the point where your almost

not playing anymore and just working on the mod.

I bet if some of the community would donate to some of the mods they love so much then some of these guys might stick around, seeing that folks do care

much about their work to actually donate.

As far as I44 goes i think its best to just wait it out, if nothing happens or PacUk or an I44 devs and makes a post then let it be, only thing i can suggest is for those who

are new to the mod or have troubles with it can still ask questions here and still at least get some support for the mod from those who still play it and theres quite a number of people that do.

I agree with you,

Im not modding on my own really so i dont know exactly how hard it is but i bet its pretty tough.

I can really understand that they have things to do in RL or just want to take a break from modding.

I think they did a great job so far and i really hope they will continue their work someday.

If they would give the option to actually donate to them i would be one of the first to do so.

There are indeed lots of people who like the mod but they are getting less because

at the moment there is no progress and new modders+players are mostly in ArmA3 now because ArmA2 is getting "old".

Hey.. I'm hoping that some I44 dev comes on here and reads this. I know it's been 2 years since release of 2.6 and I know everyone is waiting in anticipation for 2.7. There are some major issues that most likely will be addressed in 2.7 - considering it's a complete overhaul of airplanes. But I think there might also be some major gameplay bugs that may not be addressed. For example, a known I44 bug is with tanks that have mutiple MG positions - take for example sherman or panzer IV Ausf. E , both have radio operator/ co driver MG's.. but when player is in the tank, they do not fire, EVER. When you jump out of vehicle they fire normally at any target in their LOS. This was pointed out in a dev heaven bug report, but PacUK mentioned that it was an Arma2/BIS bug.. This USED to be true until they fixed it in a bug. Now vehicles like BMP-3 fire from all mg positions. Was wondering if anyone in the I44 community could have any idea on how to fix this scripting wise... Also another known bug is with the Ju-87 Stuka.. the tail gunner slides out as soon as the plane gets airborne.. PacUK said this was because of an old .sqf script using the 'attach to' command instead of attaching the gunner via proper turret - which is now possible due to engine update. I know this might be addressed in 2.7, but for those of us that can't wait for the possibility of a 2.7 release - I again ask the community how this script could be fixed...

Everyone here appreciates the hard, thankless job that the I44 dev's have done, but I would really appreciate an update from PacUk or Gnat on the status of 2.7.. If it's still being worked on, no end in sight, or just shelved for the time being..
