According to Iranian's leader Fatva using nuclear bombs in any form is absolutely restricted. So anyone including Iranian president must obey this Fatva.
If president says something different surely he will be noticed by the leader and will correct himself.
Iran is a member of NPT and do not seek nuclear bombs. Isn't it better to make Israel -which is attacking to palestine people every week- to be at least a member of NPT ?!
* Note that Fatva is a rule exploiting out from the Qur'an concepts (which Muslims believe is the exact language of God) by someones who have the eligibility to do so.

Anyway, Iran will probably never declare their possession of a bomb. They will make like Israel and leave it up in the air, yet obvious. That way, the government doesn't have to deal with the political consequences as much.

Edit: The probably won't build one either, just develop the capability. Unless they are attacked, of course. Then they have to build one. Just don't listen to the idiots who think they will vaporize the Al-Aqsa mosque and millions of Palestinians with it.
