How to install addons for Take On Helicopters?

Hey all, Ive looked and not found one yet! I am not sure if adding the addons are exactly the same way
as the ArmA addons are and this is what ive come up with so far: How to Install Mods on Take on Helicopters.

Can someone confirm that this is the correct way? or is it at all in anyway different? and also how about using
addons via steam too? same way or ... ?

Same way -mod = or expansion in game or in TOH.cfg mods parameter
Obviously in TOH root,not arma root as I did first try .

So can you confirm the guide ive linked is correct then? And I do mean 100% correct? thanks...
