Can I install Arma 2: Reinforcements with Arma 2 vanilla alone? Do I need Arma 2 OA?

I currently have Arma 2 (the original) and have just picked up Arma 2: Reinforcements (with BAF and PMC) at Best Buy for five bucks. Can I install and play Reinforcements without Operation Arrowhead? Or do I need to also buy Operation Arrowhead to play it?

Yes, you can play reinforcements without Operation Arrowhead.

Thanks Nicholas. Another question though-When I install it, does it automatically link into the original Arma 2 file, or do I have to do something else to place combine them? (Kinda want Insurgents and Russians vs USMC & British & PMCs. Lol)

Install Reinforcements in the same folder as arma 2, you will have arma 2 co-lite
