Maybe with the new sandbox design, new animation and ragdall etc. ARMA3 can be partially arcade FPS mode in some situation and can cater for thouse traditional common FPS player first, then introduce them to real ARMA world.
Thanks to BF3, system requirement for ARMA3 should not be a big problem unless they really want to set the longest view distance.

There will be a demo on Thursday supposedly dunno if its Beta or not and how this guy would be able to see it earlier.

I think it's more of he saw something that the rest of use haven't seen yet possibly. Hopefully that'll be rectified soon.

My understanding is that he had a chance to see the recent working beta but for some reason he didn't have any pictures or videos back home. To help thouse who don't learn about ARMA3, he linked the old viedeos in the forum.
Am I right?

Well I went to a crazy programming institute up here in the midlands near brum, and was better than expected as I got to see a working beta of ARMA3.
BF3 is still great in my opinion but now im reaching lvl 45 and all unlocks, im out of game time and anticipate something now.

Im totally speechless. I gotta say it has everything we ever wanted out of battlefield 3 of which bf3 failed at.... VOIP squads (not groups, groups are now groups of squads) kinda looks like arma2 but a million times better looking and more arcade in the animations. it was on a nice big HD screen also and really looked f'kin incredible! they also made it much more "fluent" compared to arma2.
It just looks smooth, no old arma2 jolt walking feeling.

because it still a war simulator, some of our players whom like the COD / BF3 arcade FPS feel might not like but i gotta say its still worth taking a look when its released.

Im really anticipating this release now, it would be nice to see other peoples show interest in arma3 and we should be playing it!

Now i seen this.... im more excited about arma3 than i was with bf3. and so is loafhimself.... loaf is so convinced hes already gone out and bought a new cpu and mb for bf3 and arma 3.

Sorry dice, i know this game is out of your league, but it shows.... your not the best afterall.

BIS developers will know if the authors story sounds legit, if the story sounds like complete BS hopefully someone can kindly remove this thread.
