About

[S.o.E] team is an ArmA II team created in November 11th 2011. Its founders have been playing ArmA II since the game was released, and some of them also played Operation Flashpoint. Our team also plays other games, mainly aircraft simulators such as DCS A-10, DCS BlackShark 1&2, LockOn, BIS Take On Helicopters and some others.

Our ArmA II gameplay is based on teamplay and tactical realism. We use ACE & ACRE addons as well as Expert and No-respawn modes. However, we're not looking to have a military spirit. No fake medals or grades are awarded in our group.

We play inter-clan co-op missions with other ArmA II teams on a regular basis (including UGAF, F27 and BWF teams). We are open to any proposition from other teams.
We always look for new teams to meet and new members to join us, to share fun and experience, no matter the nationality.


General Information

Active members: 15
Age of the members: 16 to 40 (no restriction for playing but 16+ for recruitment)
Regular Playing Mode: Co-op & PvP, simulation / infiltration / Joint operation oriented gameplay
Offical playing days: Training & inter-clan Cooperation on Fridays at 9PM (GMT+1), Missions on Saturdays at 9PM (GMT+1)
Game Environment: ArmA II Combined Operations, ACE/ACRE mods .


Organization

Our team is a democratic organization. It is structured by the French law “Association loi 1901”, with a staff elected for a year. An internal regulation defines its process.


Resources

Our team has:
- Mission makers to create missions we play
- A Yoma server to easily update addons: Auto-config url: ftp://176.31.253.58/ArmA2/yas/autoconfig.7z
- An OVH Server to have no restriction with ArmA II, and to have the possibility to install any other game
- System administration and software development skills
