Just wanted to say thanks..pretty rare you have developers that actually interact with the community on a personal level to improve gameplay and get feedback..thats what always drew me to ARMA...the devotion and dedication of the developer..wont find that in BF or COD..Thanks much for everything you do BIS!

We did as much as we possibly could on this mega update. We consider it complete now and there is nothing more we can do before holidays now.

So treat it as it is simply final patch and report only major installation issues or issues preventing this patch to be rolled out to everybody.

Thanks to everyone involved, without help of so many of the community members, 1.60 would never be possible. Thank you :yay:

Can someone confirm this hash for the exe?

ARMA2OA_Patch_1_60.exe

I got this error during the install:

I would not expect the damaged patch to be the cause here.

From what version are you exactly patching ?

My local ca.pbo had a different md5 to my remote install, so copied the remote ca.pbo file back to local machine and all is well, patch installed with no errors.

No idea why my local ca.pbo showed errors as game has been playing fine!

As long as we dont get a mass of people complaining of ca.pbo errors on final 1.60 install im happy.

Thanks

even then it's easily fixable by manual overwrite (extracting the patch)
