If it's the Steam version, try running BAF and PMC individually first. If not, or this doesn't work, try adding the -nofilepatching switch to the shortcut.

Version: 1.59.0.79384

I downloaded it from sprocet . And installed BAF and PMC individually.

Did you try re-downloading the expansions an reinstall them? If its installing correctly then something is up because im pretty sure the protection measure's are working to keep you from playing with those expansion. Im wondering if your ARMA II keys are genuine or the expansions themselves. I guess you an the software will only know . But if all else fails simple move your custom mods to a backup folder an uninstall ARMA II / everything an reinstall from scratch.

Found this for you.

Found the problem. have to run arma with administrator rights. But why. I tried to set full rights on the game folder for my user account to prevent this but only running as admin works.

What am I missing?

Did you set Admin Privilege's on the shortcut to ARMA II?

On a side note, to permanently run the game as administrator on systems with UAC enabled, so that you don't have to right-click on the shortcut/executable each time, simply right-click on it and choose Properties. Then go to the Compatibility tab, check the "Run this program as an administrator" option and click OK to apply your changes.

Steam users should do the same with their Steam shortcut/executable.
