Any chance there's some process for some other program going on in the background that screws up OFP? Maybe something like an AV scan?

Yeah, i checked all processes - nothin' out of the ordinary. I also disabled my AV software (comodo), and of course rebooted my computer frequently during my tests. That's the thing, i usually figure these kind of problems out - this one seems like a hard one to crack... Thanks for the reminder though!
