    Question Cannot load mipmap problem

    Hi !

I installed TextView2 and opened a .paa file and saved it as .tga.
Then i used Paint.NET to edit the .tga file.
I added one more layer and combined both, then i saved the file as .tga with this settings:
    32 bit
    No compression

Now i opened the .tga in TextView2 and saved it as .paa.
But ingame i always get a error:
    Cannot load mipmap c\Data\arma2profil\missions\mymission\test.paa
But i can see the image and if i try it again (it is a image that shows when you get hit) there is no more error.

Any idea what went wrong ?
I uploaded my edited .paa file, maybe you can help me and tell me what i did wrong:

I tried to save in .dds with Paint.Net because there is a Mipmap otion but it also does not work.
The first time i saved in .dds and then converted it worked but now i get the same error again...

Is it even possible to edit and later save in .paa without Photoshop ?

dont use the photoshop pluggin.. its outdated, use textview 2 from bis tools. And yes you can use any image editor and then use textview to convert it to paa.

Btw the paa you uploaded works perfectly fine in my arma, check your path maybe you wrote something wrong.

just paste here where and how are you trying to use the image ingame, an where you put it. I loaded it and showed on a dialog without any problem, where are you trying to use it?.

I dont think it matters how i use it ingame, i think the error has something to do with the editing of the image.
Because the original .paa works everytime but if i edit it i sometimes get this error. So i think adding new layers is maybe the problem...
