    Change ATOC ingame?

Hi ATOC looks very nice, but on forrest map i need the +10 FPS that are lost while Alpha Tree or Grass rendering.

Is there any way to change ATOC from 0 to 7 and back while ingame?

Play with the settings...AtoC on grass is the biggest FPS killer for me; but running atoc=6 keeps it on the vegetation but removes it on grass and my FPS gets a nice boost. Also you can disable it on resource-hungry islands like Chernarus but still use it for the foliage in OA.

yea, good tip, atoc 6 is the key. i have a good system (SSD,4.5Ghz,GTX470,8GB) but with atoc 7 i got sometimes in forrest with grass under 25 frames...atoc 6 is way better. and gras looks like ...grass with 6 and 7-..

I must not say it again, but I will ... I have never understood why BIS added ATOC into the configs and switched it on default with no clue about it much in settings.

I think for the fact that its a direct effect on FPS and default in game this is one feature that should have clear menu settings, esp for people who get the game and dont check these forums and notice "fussy outlines" and bad fps without realising its an edit away from sorting out.

If its on by defualt and hits fps it needs a menu option to make it clear, if it doesn't it should be off by default with clearer info.
