Excellent news. Managed to dislocate both my shoulders on holiday, so I don't mind the delay as PC gaming (and working) is off the cards until October sometime!

Warping is all but taken care of BTW in the latest betas.

In regards to Object View Distance, it would have to be a server-side thing, as obviously it would create an unfair advantage in MP for some players. I'd love to have it, but...just saying.

Looking at the remaining list of regressions and incomplete fixes (recently updated by Suma), it looks like we're finally getting close to a proper release. Perhaps even this week?
It would be great to finally get a full patch out.
I think they will do it when they finish the list. There are still some very important Tickets there
