[Answered] Arma 2: OA Bad CD Key: Invalid CD key (multiplayer)

Hi everyone. I searched everywhere but it didn't help me.

I bought Arma 2 : Combined Operations yesterday (amazon game downloads). I was playing single player till now. I tried to go online (OA) and every server I join it says " Bad CD Key: Invalid CD key "

Arma 2 works fine in multiplayer , it's just OA that gives me this error.

Arma 2 : OA was already updated to 1.59(latest) when I installed.

Arma 2 : wasn't (1.06)

I reinstalled both games, ( they are both in the same folder (arma 2))

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

its set automatically on the O.A install.

Did you try to run the game as admin?
Did you try to install battleye from the installer as admin?

i run windows xp, would i still have to do this?

In XP one can also have an user account (without admin privileges).

Hi, I'm having the same issue I bought Combined Operations from Amazon 2 days ago, and multiplayer is not working for both ARMA II or OA. However, for OA it specifically says "bad CD key." For ARMA II it just kicks me back to the server list without saying anything. Please anyone (especially Admin) HELP. Where can I get a valid CD Key? I have proof of purchase and everything! I already contacted Amazon, but they haven't helped yet.

Everything is in latest patch: OA is 1.59, ARMA II is 1.09

And one last thing: The publisher I purchased from is Meridian4

After reading Weskokigen, Arma 2 kicks me too. I thought that the admin was kicking me. It doesn't give any reason it just kicks you back to server list.
