I would see that Russians would be on OPFOR as that is the side they belong.

why not just divide them into two factions ?

ie "bad Russians" into OPFOR side.

and motorized infantry, on BluFor side[in fact fighting together with USA/USMC sometimes] &other "good Russians".

Put them on OPFOR, for gawd's sake. It is up to the mission designer to make them otherwise, and it takes mere seconds to do so. Better to have them all in one place than scattered all over the damn shop.

The units look great! :)

Three small questions: Are motorized rifle troops actually using goggles? I haven't seen them on any photos so far.

Will the units be able to use the AO backpacks?

Will their be a version in desert camo?

These units look fantastic so far, one issue I noticed was the helmets look a bit wider than how they look in some photos i've seen..

Hope to see these units get finished, can't say I've seen enough decent Russian units released recently.

will you make some russian unit with the SURPAT ( if used ) ?

The Russian military does not use SURPAT camo.

This camouflage is used only by some units of the FSB as the "Lynx" detachment

That's nice to model 6Sh92-5, not that common. But isn't it more for VDV than mechanized infantry (I thought they most use classical 6Sh92) ?

By the way thanks for some more variety in russian units.:)

I also meant to say the green on the helmets could probably be less dark.

You're French, do you know Frontovik.net ?

You like you know what you are talking about. In Russian Army there is not standard dress code like in US Army for example. You could find pretty easily a 6Sh95-5 on somes Motorized Infantry Units , and same if the 6sh92 is way more used in Motorized infantry. The big deal with the 6Sh92-5 is that you have more capacity , and that it is realy beautiful compared with the standard 6Sh92-5

Yep, my name is Molodoï on this forum

And yes I know that dress code is kind of "free":dance1: in russian army. I just wanted to precise that 6Sh92-5 is not very spread and therefore kind of reserved for "special units" of the army as VDV.

But it is also possible to find it on a mechanized infantery grunt.;)

EDIT: Hi Kisame, I did not make the link with your name on Fronto...
