night vision is all black and white

when playing arma 2 co on night missions with night vision goggles everything is black but people white! arma 2 1.57. Anyhelp how to fix that?

You had it set to thermal vision and 'white is hot'. Press n again to cycle through the colour options.

does not work!I tried many times! i have been playind for like a year and now just started to happen! says thermal vision on or off and that is it. no night vision If i open the map turn off it then close the map my vision will be black and white but no goggles on!

How about updating to 1.59? See if the problem still persists.

Are you actually carrying NVG?

One of the Beta patches causes this, it gives you thermal instead on NVG.
Drop the NVGs from your gear and then you can switch the thermal on and off with the n key.
Updating to the recent patch will get rid of it.

i'm playing the begining of harvest red Tankbuster!So yes i'm carrying one!

And liquidpink i'm using the 77706 beta! for 1.57!The 1.59 gave a really bad performance. So i reinstall arma 2 co and patch 1.57 and beta 77706 because i like the AToC. maybe is this beta?
