    Easy way to populate a village?

    is there an easy way to populate a village or an area with civvys without placing them individually or knowing a lot about scripting?

    Example mission maybe? and a noob explanation?

    Use the ambient civilians module. Modules > Ambient Civilians

    im running that and synced it to the player but theres rarely any civs around? Am i doing something wrong?

    No neef to sync, just drop on map at it is. The population depends on town Size...smaöö villages will spawn only a handfull of civilian A.I.

    The mission might also have to run a bit for all og tzhem to show up...if any fighting occurs the civies will flee back into houses or run away.

    I never use it so don't really know how well it works but if you go here: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Ambient_Civilians

    There are parameters for setting how many civilians, what locations etc.

    There are two ALICE modules, they work better depending on the island.

    Wolffy is working on a BIS Module Improvement Project.

    That's right, if you use the wrong Module on the wrong island it wont work. Use the expansion module only for expansion maps.

    Soem maps don't work with A.L.I.C.E. at all, like Proving Grounds.

    Placing units with UPS patrol scrips works easy and well.....(make sure to put their skill level down to zero, though....To help with using less CPU).
