ataribaby 54 Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) Hi, Anyone else experience suttering/ pauses after 1.59 applied? It so bad on my install so i reverted back to 1.57. Looks like you move little and all stops for second or half loading textrues maybe? Totaly unplayable all is slower now. All ok in 1.57. My PC is not powerfull but i expected new patch will improve or stay at least same and not makes things worse. Till it gets solved i stay with 1.57. Arma 1.09 is ok for me, its just 1.59 that stutters badly now for me. Edited April 3, 2011 by Dwarden resolved problem

ataribaby 54 Posted April 3, 2011 Cant believe no one has said it yet.DE-FRAG Oh well then i am afraid its just my install or PC... My specs are Win 7 64 pro, 2GB Ram, Nvidia 8600 GT 256MB latest drivers ---------- Post added at 07:56 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:53 AM ---------- Turn ATOC off. Isnt this needs AA to be enabled? I have AA off. I will try disable ATOC in arma2.cfg too
NoRailgunner 0 Posted April 3, 2011 Try with normal or low settings, reduce viewdistance (try default 1600m/2400m or lower), disable postprocess effects, disable all unneeded background stuff. Go get a new pc, multi-core (4-X) new gfx card, more RAM... :)
purepassion 22 Posted April 3, 2011 yeah with this system you have to make compromisses 1. Set ATOC in the config =0 2. Turn down HDR, postprocessing, AA and Viewdistance 3. Save up some money and update your system 4. Youre good to go!
ataribaby 54 Posted April 3, 2011 Thanks for tips, Finaly got solved it. It was caused by some custom mission i used after patching to 1.59. Original missions dosent stutter. Mystery solved, Sorry for hassle.
