    Red face

    Hi,

I recently played a mission that started with men being paradropped from UH-60.
But whenever I try to get them to do the same with one of my missions the UH-60 always lands before they get out.

Can anyone help me by telling me how I setup the waypoint/command?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

I dunno wich way is easier. To me my way is easier cuz Im not good at scripting.
I just make a trigger that activates when a chopper flies into an area and it sets a1(of course it doesnt have to be a1) to true.
Then I make a trigger for each soldier in the chopper with the condition a1(or what U chose to name it), and in the On Activation field you type:
    uassignvehicle SoldierName; SoldierName action ["Eject",Choppername]
"Cibit, come in my number two." - Terox

Want someone to JIP into your squad? Choose your words carefully.

Supposing your a total moron and you don't know what the soldiers name are OR how to name them, how would you do it?

(a mate of mine wants to know......whos a moron)

When youre placing a soldier on the map, you can see a little field called name in the grey box (under the are where youre selecting which sort of unit you will place on the map.)

Just write a pretty tecnical name there (no blanksteps) and then the unit have a name.
Soon comes the day when all shall be free, even you, and even me.
Soon comes the day when all shall die, surely you but never I...

You have to be in advanced mode in the editor to give the units name I think. You can switch to advanced mode in the top right corner of the editor.
A tip for new editors is to check out the tutorial wich you can find in the readme that comes with the game, thats how I started.
