ARMASTACK: The place to ask your editing questions!

    Hi,

Wanted to make you aware of the opening of a new Arma2 Editing Resource Site. It is a community driven question and answer engine that will allow developers to quickly and efficiently gain knowledge in areas of mission editing and addonmaking. Simply register and jump in. Ask questions, share your knowledge if you can, rate both questions and answers and best of all, search quickly and efficiently!

but is it for addon editing only, or for any editing question? (scripting, MP locality, config, configuration etc etc)

Very nice idea! It's worth recommending. Its scheme reminds me of digg.com

    Good initiative

    Some recommendations:

    a) Have a simple wiki in addition. To explain the site, provide links to various parts of it.
    Especially feed usage is key.

    b) Reduce the banner on the main site height a lot.

    c) If possible adapt the interface to http://stackoverflow.com
Currently this is way harder to read. Usability is the key for such a project.

    d) Remove the user pics (at least on the main page).

    e) The font size is too small for text messages (this vs SO)

    f) The related posts should be more visually separated.

Most important this should integrate with the BIKI.

So in most cases people should link to the BIKI with a bit of context.
If nothing is in the BIKI, create a simple new page, add your info and link it.

Nice job, been wanting to make something like this myself.
Please optimize the text, we don't need a fancy design
