    Hi Opticsnare. Could you please release a standalone addon just featuring Shell Casings, one of the components in warfx blastcore, just like your Blastcore Tracers R1 addon? Since some of us don't have cutting-edge computer, and the feature mentioned seems did not heavy relay on high computer resource, but is also unique in arma2 world(we can only find similar feature in arma1: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id...light=DEADFAST ).

    Blastcore has shell casings? I never noticed before.

    I knew ACE does, but... Hmm.

    ArmA2/OA Settings:
    1920x1080 w/ View Distance at ~3600
    Video Memory at Default
    MSAA Very High, AToC=0, SMAA Ultra
    Post Processing at Very Low
    All other settings at Very High

    Ill ask a stupid question here but im just curious, is there any difference from this blastcore thread and the blastcore_visuals i downled via six updater?

    Get inton a BMP, switch to third person view, fire, watch the casings. Its a great feature!

    As we speak about it and I think it might be related to that; always when I fire large caliber weapons such as e.g. the M134 for the first time in the game, I get a pop-up errormessage saying

    Cannot open object ca/weapons abojnice.p3d
    Since it says .p3d, I think it might be related to the shells (3D model) which I am not able to see

    Check your RPT file for anything else. AFAIK that can be caused by lots of different things.

    Nothing compared to a Tunguska.

    It could be one of the muzzle effect particles. I don't believe the M134 has shell casings, but I know it has a muzzle flash effect.

    Tests without Blastcore do not show this error. here is the RPT entry which seems to correspond:

    LODShape::Preload: shape 'ca\weapons\nabojnice.p3d' not found
    Warning Message: Cannot open object ca\weapons\nabojnice.p3d
    yeah I also thought that might be the muzzleflash effects but I am using the version where I think OS disabled them (the huge vehicle flashes).
    This also shows up when firing said 2A42 on the BMP-2 or other large caliber weapons for the first time

    Yeah, it's probably the muzzle flash. Those all are supposed to have it.
