Video Options - Aspect ratio??

Recommended Posts

If I run my A2/CO with 1280 X 1020 screen resoltuion - What is the proper Asepct Ratio??

I have a SAMSUNG T220 (I believe is a wide screen)...but it seems the 4:3 option or the 5:4 TF options look best?

Should I be using the wide screen Aspect Ratio's though?

Thanks for any advice

4:3 or 5:4 is not widescreen

Neither 1280x1024 is widescreen

Widescreen is 1680x1050 or 1920x1080 (there are many other kinds of reso)

16:9 and 16:8 are widescreen

You should run the native resolution for your screen, 1680x1050, if possible for the best picture. LCD screens tend to get blurry at other resoulutions.

If you are struggling with FPS you should turn it down to 1280x720 and choose 16:9 as aspect ratio.

Those blurry may be caused by the low 3D Resolution (Upsampling)

LCD has slightly worst color compared to LED Monitors

LCD has slightly worst color compared to LED Monitors

it depends on what type of display You talk about

firt You need to have qualite LCD monitor (SPVA/SIPS or better aka read here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TFT_LCD )

then profi quality monitor which supports input/output for deepColor or higher (this mean more than 8bpp per color component)

LED backlight plays role after these important details are met ... :)

Use the circle in the graphic options, that's what it's there for.

Change the ratio until it looks round, not oval. Simples
