patch 1.08 dramas

hello fellas ive been trying to instal the 1.08 patch and it keeps saying arma2 not installed on computer or files corrupted, ihave reinstalled it twice now and it stil is coming up with the same thing any on had this drama or has anyone got any ideas????

What Version of Arma2 are you trying to patch, ARMA 2, ARMA OA, ARMA Combined Ops?

And is your version steam, digital download or DVD?

Hi,

A similar problem was encountered when I tried to install and patch Arma II on a laptop. As the HD was not the fastest around, there could be a difference between the timestamp of the PBO and BISIGN files, something only noticed after downloading patch executables several times and still getting error messages, though for different files each time. The work around (it is not neat enough to warrant the monicker of solution) required to copy the entire installation folder and apply the patches several times, each time backing up all files that had identical timestamps for the paired PBO and BISIGN files. It took a good deal of time and plenty of copying and backing up and restoring, but in the end it was successful.

its for arma 2 vs 1.05 and its a digital copy from sprocket

Have you tried downloading it from one of the other listed download mirrors and installing? As it maybe that the one you downloaded is currupted.

Is arma installed in C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2? If not then that might be the problem.

yeah it is installed inprogram files(86) ive tried that aswell

Unless you have ama 2 OP/CO aswell, i don't whatelse to suggest other than trying what sander said.

Actually, you could download patch 1.56 because that brings arma 2 upto patch 1.08 as a multi patch install, can't promise anything but sure worth try. (once its installed patch 1.08 simply end the process in task manager but only if it fails to complete the install on first attempt when you click ok.)

It sounds like maybe a registry issue and the patch installer can't find Arma 2 path. Try searching your reg for all Arma 2 paths and make sure they're the same
