    Russian key and english game

    Hello!

I am new to the forums and it might seem a bad sign to start with a troubleshooting thread. But I love reality games and am playing Project Reality as well.

Anyway, I bought Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead keys(legit way, trust me). I borrowed a friends disc to install the game. I have read around a bit and I know that in order for me to play in English, I need to use a mod file(or backup old ones and copy the new ones. Tried that, no FADE issues). That's not really a concern to me, since I do not have a trouble with that. What really bothers me, is the multiplayer part.

If I am using the mod way, half of the servers show up as red for me and those which don't, I get kicked for using the Russian to English mod. If I use the second method, more servers come available, but in the end, same thing. I keep getting kicked (no reasons showed).

And my second problem with this is, I only have played so far Warfare Benny Edition Lite in a few MP servers, but never the less, the warfare menu is fully Russian.

So, getting to my point now, how can I play Arma 2 multiplayer without these issues? What can I do myself?
PS: I'm an advanced computer user, so any kind of tutorial or help or hint or whatever is fine.

The available languages to choose from are tied to the key. If you have a Russian (or Polish or German) key then you may have only the localized language to play with. You noticed that already I presume.

That said, you only have 2 options:
    1) Keep using the language Mod and have only limited selection of servers, or
    2) Purchase the game in English and sell your localized copy.

Though there are numerous inofficial websites which sell keys only I recommend to not use this service as there is no guarantee that the keys you purchase there are not sold several times and blacklisted.

I presume that Bennys Warfare uses localization and since your version is in Russian language, the menus are in Russian too.

But why use this kind of system? Other such games don't have this kind of problem, they only just have the extra added language, that's all. And how the hell I am supposed to buy a English copy if even the Russian one I have is much cheaper.

Ask that your local publisher, they decided which languages are available and which not.

No publisher here, only the Internet. Still, why such marketing/design decision?
