Need some help asap!

ok i in a bit of a problem i cant find ANY info on weapons on WWII era U.S. navy vessels, they are:
battle ships, cruisers, destroyers, escort carriers, and carriers (if there are any other than the planes)

what i need to know about theses ships is

The speed, of each vessel and the max it can go

The deck guns, aa guns, and any other weapons and the armament for each ship i have listed

the max range and discriptions of the firepower, and discriptions of the shells used in the main guns as well as the smaller guns

I Dont want you to tell me the answers to may questions but tell me were i can find the information. remember it has to be WWII era ships that were in the U.S. Navy.

P.S. this is a side note for those of who just gota start braggin about whos navy is better and make childish insults to one another, please leave that out of this thread because it doesnt help me one bit and just makes this into a senseless flame war. if you really wana start something like that than make your own thread and carry on there.

its just that there are a few creative people here that love to make this "Americas navy is better than British Navy" than a reasponse come "U.S. Navy sux British Navy = ownage" than silly insults are thrown, not to long ago there was a topic about somebody wanting to know about a daisy cutter, than it turned to a very ugly topic.

Ah, ok. I missread your post. I thought you were thinking about navy vs other military branches...
