Problem with NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M - 18 FPS, only LOW & NORMAL details - PLEASE HELP

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've installed Arma2 and OA (really great games) on my notebook and I've got problem with really low performance.

I'm getting max. 18 FPS in Benchmark1 mission...another interesting thing is, I've got only 2 options in GRAPHIC MEMORY (in game settings) combo box. Only LOW & NORMAL...nothing more

Here ist configuration of my notebook from dxdiag.exe and from Win7

quadro gfx cards are intended for a diffetent purpose, and that is CAD environment (as you might already know).

that said, the architecture of the card, and especially its drivers are not designed for CG.

therefor, i doubt you will be able to get more out of that card without using other drivers (which were not designed for you gfx card in the first place)

its still a GT216...That would be less than a 220, which is alot less than a 250,( which is a re-badged 8800GT~) that has nerf'd speed for notebook, so he has about a GF9400, trying to run at 1900/1200?
