Thread: The weapon I want...

  1. #41
Ppl seems to overlook the HK G3. I was actually one of the most widely used military assault rifles in 1985. I do agree though that work should focus on making more US/USSR weapons as they were in 1985. The last thing i want to see in the game is all the "miniguns with grenade launchers and shotgun" some ppl keep asking for. The ccol thing about the game is that it focuses more on the "regular grunt" side of the war than seen in any game before (maybe in NAM - but that game sucked). Since the game shoud focus on "regular warfare" (non-special) there is no reason for making handguns for the game. the sole purpose i would see for them would be as the single weapon of higher ranking officers. You would want the player to feel very fragile while beeing on the battlefield with nothing but his M16A1 for protection - not to feel godlike.

I would like to se this bug fixed:
The rear door of the M113 is portrayed in the wrong side when looking from witin the vehicle.

But what about the special ops soldiers adding a silenced handgun could come in very handy if you run outta 9mm bullets for your mp5-sd.

All I have to say is the M134 Mingun. If you don't know what it is look it up. You won't be disappointed.

First off ill start with the simple,

A few more shotuns for the civilians maybe a side by sidewith the ability to load and fire both barrels at once, each mouse button fires a barrel, or a pump-action kind.

Artillery that could get towed on the back of towed on the back of vehicles or on fixed points and a mortar.

Hmmmm... about Shotguns... how bout a Mossberg for civies... well maybe not... it's not a hunting rifle... a Benelli M3 for NATO... no, thats for Counter Terr. units... maybe a Saiga for Russia? Yeah, thats good! As for timelines.. who cares? The CAMPAIGN was set in 1985!

    OICW/ Minigun[/QUOTE]<span id='postcolor'>
+portable nuke launcher and laser rifle.

Ok, then back to this world....

Russian AN-94 Abakan would be great, sadly it does not fit into the timeline.
    Maybe:

    MG42 for resistance
Mortar (real thing, not rifle grenades)
    Shovel/bayonet for close combat
