Bad serial number given in set up?

I finished downloading arma 2 and operation arrowhead and after playing arrowhead I decided to play arma 2. After doing the 3 steps and installing battle eye for it I'm at the logo screen but then the game exits out and a sign says "bad serial number given in set up". Uhhh WTF is going on and how do I fix this?

I've gotten things like this for many different games, to save all that contacting to company BS, i just get a fake serial from many different websites. companys never reply anyway.

all you need is start STEAM as administrator and then revalidate game cache ...

and i strongly recommend You to not try 'fake numbers'
