    Lower Acceleration on vehicles

    As the thread title suggests,
most accelerations in this game are

    a) way too high
    b) too low

I am especially talking about the tanks and APC's here.
That LAV 25 is faster from 0-50 than a Mercedes C220 (When in reality,
the time to get from 0-30 km/h is just under 10 seconds).

Since Operation Arrowhead and ArmA II are released since a long time,
I'm talking about a potential successor to these games.

What do you think? Would it be bad gameplay wise or would you like to see
proper accelerations for the vehicles displayed in the game?

I think if anything if its such a thing that one feels is a nuicense as in going againsted realism
and breaking a player's immersion of the game then i think an addon and or mod to fix or upgrade can work.
I dont think many players dislike going fast, or faster then what is realistic, all depends.
Dont think it be to much trouble to make a small tweak and
put it in a patch if BIS finds it relevent enough that its really needed.

Vehicle physics as a whole need a bit of a revamp. I'd like to see even basic physics settings like a torque curve and gear ratios introduced in the next game, so that vehicle performance can be based on some sort of real data rather than some abstract figures.

This and hopefully friction-based tyre/track physics instead of a turning radius which magically increases with speed.
