Arma 2 and OA in seperate directories

Hello!

I have a quick question. I purchased Arma 2 when it first came out from Direct 2 Drive; It in turn installed to one directory. Recently I purchased OA from steam, which is installed of course into the steam directory. Is there anyway to combine the two to make the "Combined Ops?" My understanding with CO is that it would allow me to place the units that came in Arma 2 alongside the units that are in OA on the OA maps. Any help on how to combine the two would be appreciated!
