changing resolution from outside ARMA2

Hi,

please could anyone help a befuddled old techno-phobe?

i have changed the resolution using the in game graphics options to a resolution that my monitor does not support. i cannot now see the graphics options, to change it back.

is there some way to change the ARMA2 graphic resolution from windows?

Hi there yes there is.

Go to your docs and look for ARMA 2 folder

In there you will see a con fig file open that in NOTEPAD ONLY and change the res.

if in your game the values are the same, check your ArmA2.cfg or ArmA2OA.cfg under C:\Users\~WINUSER~\Documents\ArmA 2

that your values for

Resolution_W=xxxx;

Resolution_H=yyyy;

equals

Render_W=xxxx;

Render_H=yyyy;

What if you are running Windows XP? I can't find the Config file anywhere in my directory, Also my files are not on the C drive, They are in another drive labeled E: of course this wouldn't change much, only that it's different. But the steam files are still set up the same. But i can't find the Arma2 Config file.
