Is it not possible to make the "player", you know, your guy, commandmove during a mission cutscene? I have some things set up for the "player" to do in the init.sqs but doesnt seem to respond.

In the init.sqs I set up the face, behaviour and a few other things that show up in a short camera sequence. Everyone moves and does what they are supposed to except the "player". His face gets changed, he does the right behaviour, and he even reacts to switchmove or playmove but he wont respond to "commandmove". Can the guy you are going to control not be moved around like that?
