Thread: Need help with p3d2obj

    I have unpacked the demo data p3d with the pbo tool and tried with xpac (but it just says out of memory while expanding memory stream (i have 384 mb of ram) and when i try to turn the .p3d into a .obj file it doesnt do anything accept say unknown input format

    please help me

    only the old demo data3d.pbo works

    i had the same problem yesterday, if we lucky fileplanet has the old demo
    Lets go get in the elevader.

    We can't ,I blew it up.

    The elevader is over there!

    Then what did I blow up?

    Where is the dropship?

    oh sorry i didnt say i am using the old demo p3ds but it still wont work. Thanks anyway though

    Old version: 0.36
    Newer version 0.42 (But DON'T quote me on that)

    I can give you the reason why you have to use the older demo files. It's because in everything above v0.36, the models are in ODOL format. P3D2OBJ only handles MLOD
    format..

    Check fileplanet for the older demo...

    dunno if this helps but the first 5 letters of the p3d are ˙MLOD

    That's the way it's supposed to be.

    Unpack the demo "Data.PBO" using PBOTool.

    Decrypt using XPack

    Extract using P3D2OBJ


    Is that the way you do it? At what point does it crash?

    no i extracted the data3d then tried using p3d2obj, ill try that way. thankyou.
