You could simply kill the enemies you see on the way to your objectives. At least I didn't note that any tricks were necessary.

it's not so easy on my PC: silenced HK MP5 is quite less effective than assault rifles, at a distance, moreover I'm outnumbered and normally killed by starting a firefight against 3-4 enemies (that most of times see me through grass and foliage, meanwhile I don't); dashing to the objective seems not to be an option (easily killed), without covering spots ... and that's appreciable: it goes for realism

what does not add to realism is this crowd of running enemies - shooter style

I think I will camp and wait for the dark... ...

I never had major problems with this mission. And I completed it on the hardest difficulty two times (both in AA2 and CO). There are no patrols there, the area just goes into a complete chaos with the nuke going off - everyone just fights everyone. Also enemies can't see you through grass and foliage (a myth that got busted many times already), just because your eyes are covered by grass doesn't mean the rest of the body is. Keep that in mind when hiding.

The best tactics here is a simple, banal survival. Ignore and avoid enemies as much as you can, always keep looking around for movement, never stay in the open, listen to where the shots are coming from - if the fighting is intense there better run in the different direction. Fight back only if you have to (like enemy being just some 50m away). And keep going.

i adjusted my settings so that the enemy skill level was high but they didn't have really high accuracy.

What i did was stay away from the roads and go to the CDF postsand then jump back into the treeline and then

how smart these enemies are ... they always find me in the bushes ... so in the end I resorted to my "roadrunner" disguise and made it to the survivors group

I just played this one tonight, very very cool mission.

First time through (well, half way through) I was picking weapons and ammo off all the bodies I found, I was doing well. Then got killed by some guy I missed.

Second time through I was finding NO ammo. Then I got stuck in a savegame-in-front-of-badguys situation.

After 15 restarts while spamming the back button I managed to skip out of the line of fire enough to get away with only minor wounds. So there I am, at checkpoint 1, with an empty MP5, no resources around and at least 6 guys right behind me! Ended up running for my life past basically everyone till I got to the place. Phew!!
