  1. 1. What are the most important sounds for you while using JSRS?

    • The weapon sounds!
    • The vehicle sounds!
    • Environmental sounds!
    • Explosions, Soniccracks, Bullethits, the sound of danger!
    • The script features like the "distance sounds"!
    • Everything combined! The whole Mod itself is important.

It'll be released on 24th. So maybe you can even download it before you become a father?

Thanks to Tonci for making a Video with some features from JSRS.

I will rework the rocket engine sounds to be more fast and realistic.

Jarhead

PS: the world ends when you have to pay monthly for Arma like WOW...

what's that sharp noise you hear before the overfly sound? that's a little annoying but other than that it sounds great!

Also when a tow misile flies overhead it seems that there are multiple flyby's playing before it does the flyby (@ 5:37)

I don't know anything about sounds so.. keep it up!

You hit it right on the nail, I've heard shit hit from that range... I'll tell you... when your not too far away from the explosion. When the rocket hits, you can feel the fucking heat wave before you hear any sound. But the sound is EXACTLY like the real deal! its a very low bass sound on impact... if it hits dirt etc... when it impacts metal I am not sure exactly what it is like.

Nice work man, I am so psyched... I'll donate to you on Christmas for all of your hard work!

Cheers, from evo!

You should remove the video from your quote. Mods will get angry otherwise

This soundmod has become the perfect reason for people to waste their ammo just to hear those amazing sounds!

Ah, the AK-74 is so much better now!

If I opened up the .pbo and replaced the distant sonic cracks with the 1.13 versions, would the distance script break?

JSRS is modular, you dont like something you just dont include the pbo on load.

If its similar to 1.3 then cracks should have its own pbo but im unsure as Ive never seen or tested 1.4 to know if layout of pbos are the same.

All the cracks go together in one .pbo. I prefer the distant cracks from 1.13, so it means opening up the .pbo and replacing sound files. But that might break the awesome new distance script.

This might indeed break the distance script.

But don't worry, you'll like the new cracks

Well he lives in Germany, so he has still 22 hours and 3 minutes left.

You may get a new Gameplay vid in aprox 12 hours to torture you :p

Now I have to get some sleep.
