Arma 2: Chernarus LIFE
CD - Medieval; Digital - Future!
Here is a video of some guy in a Defender 110", with SAND tires on,... not mud tires as he says.
It looks like Michelin XL tires or what they are called, and they are for sand mostly.
But listen to the sound from the "outside" of the car.

There is no JSRS sound for HK's?

I would say on Jarheads test the sound maybe needs to come down 10 percent or so and also its distant sounds config setting should cut off more a farther away (but then its a test video so im shure hes doing that anyway)![]()

LiquidPinky: "Screw Steam, I wouldn't feed it my shite if it was starving" 2012.
Yah I thought about making it less noisy. But this was just a test as named. So it was just a theoretical thing I needed to hear in game. I just wanted to let you know that I going to work on something like this. So yeah, I will reduce the sound about maybe 25% or more. We'll see. For light APC's like BRDM or Trucks like MTVR I will let it this noisy.
And yeah, the ACE update is on its waySo dont worry.

Spoiler:
I think it sounds good and realistic, from that video. However, in my experience any sort of sound that repeats, like the 'pulsing' of that tire, quickly becomes very irritating. So it may only sound good for the first few minutes.
Edit: Can the sound be restricted to roads and paved surfaces?
