What exact router model are you using?

Did you update its firmware and reset all settings to default?

Could you please go to Start(->Run...) and enter cmd. Then try the following command and tell me if you get timeouts: "ping bistudio.com -l 7".

Could you try all numbers for -l from 0 to 10 (i.e. 0, 1, 2, etc.) and report back?

I need you to test this because your router is most likely dropping small packets.

do i type in ping bistudio.com -1 and so on to -10

"ping bistudio.com -l 0" is the first, then you only change the number at the end. "-l" contains a lower-case L.

Alright, so your router is indeed dropping small packets, which shouldn't be happening. This is why you are getting kicked by BE. Another user had the exact same problem with the DGN1000 a while ago. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do at the moment, it's up to Netgear to fix this.

Could you please contact Netgear customer support and forward them to this thread? I will try to do so as well.
