Need a free dedicated server tool

Hey, I'm currently running my server through Arma.
But I wanna add some Server messages and Mod it up a bit.

(I've got a Taliban Mod, and a english SAS/ American Marines corps / Mod)
Which will be based on the Evo Red and Evo Blue server *Which i've Dl'd.

I basically need a Dedicated server tool...

Or can Sombody explain to me directly step by step how to set it up myself
through Server.exe?
All i get when pressing it is saying battleyee started.

If I can dl the tool that's fine too..

Armatech's Tool doesn't seem to DL anymore, maybe it's shutdown.

Hi there and thanks for the link.

Yes I went through that before i posted on here,
I really do not understand the "Setting up your own server"
Through Arma_Server? All i get is a Small box come up saying battle eye started.
Etc.

If you can give me some steps to go through that be great.

But other-than that I tried the Dedicated server tools, only ones i found *2* were both out-dated and didn't work with my version

I'm 505 games - 1.14 patch.

I would also like to know How i edit a server.

Aka...I downloaded the EVO blue/red server.
But Idk what i need to edit it...
Tool perhaps but which?

Here is a tool for you Works fine for starters and lets you start server in different ways, just like you start your own game. If you want to make a dedi server you can allso have a look at Kelly's heroes for a How to Dedi server guide. Very usefull

Right, I've got it set-up I press Run-Server - Nothing comes up on server list.
Do i have to create a server in game aswell?

Hmm.. maybe its not working with new patches then sorry bout that. Then i you'll need to read Jman's guide i guess.
Some time ago i used it. You need to place it in the same folder as you got your Arma2server.exe, and check the box for gamespy ip, try running it as simple as you can on the first try - no addons etc. and put a mission you know works for startup. Allso you might try to give it a different port than 2302 since i belive you are playing on the same machine as your serving from. try 2312 for example and check router so its open ports. Windows security will probably ask you to open for the program. And no.. you dont have to set up a game aswell. It can run by it self and you can view the log..it should pop up when its running.

But as i said.. i havent used it for some time, so i have no idea if there are changes that might bug it or sommet.

The program should save your settings on exit, then load them up on start up.If you have any probs with this, delete the gca2dst.dat file (this will clear your settings).


Known issues:
If you start server and stop before it has chance to load the exe, it it will crash.
