Bad Serial Number Given On Setup

I have the problem where it says bad serial number given on setup for ArmA2. I've tried all the solutions listed here:

    https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...4950-EKAM-2644

to no avail. The problem could be that I have the game installed on annother computer.

Are you trying to run the game on both machines at the same time?

the link you've provided is not working, so ill have to try to give you a solution blind.

If you are updating to 1.05 and are given this error message, try to run the game first, and then update.

    Fresh install did not help.

If you purchased the game on steam and still get that error you should try re-download the game by deleting local content or contact support.

Perhaps the problem is Steam. You said its installed on another pc, Perhaps Steam wont allow you to install it on another machine?

I have done this with other games though. Maybe ArmA2 only lets one cdkey per comp.
