Hi people! While I created and devising scenarios for my first campaign that was largely in the process ( http://forums.bistudio.com/showthrea...Falcon-by-bboy ), I came upon an idea... how to organize CAS and make it look as realistic as possible. I know that there are already a lot of scripts and ways how to do it, but I liked something else... call and command pilot by radio. I made a test mission where you can see how it looks. Hope you have fun! ;) just put downloaded pbo into mission folder, start the game and read the manual into Notes how to use CAS... I tested it a lot of times, work well... but note that this is not final version... ;) And how I always write, whatever you like it or not, if you find anny bugs, if you have a better idea for something... feel free to write here!
I made this mission with MP in mind for myself and some friends. It is doable in SP and should work from the SP mission section too.

This is my first MP mission that I have released. Editing for MP is new territory for me so I have no idea how well this will play on a dedicated server. If any of you do try it on a dedi please let me know if it doesn't work so I can try and fix it. The mission has not been extensively tested so there may be bugs and the mission may either be too easy or too hard (but remember that there is some randomness in enemy numbers and positions).
Made this maze because I always wanted one. It's also a MP mission for up to 5 players. There is also some AI units in the maze to keep you company while you make it to the exit. There is no scripting involved and pretty much left it open for anyone to modify and make it a lot cooler. If you want the 3D file or the maze template let me know. I figure I had to name the maze so I named it Bungle (As in Mr. Bungle). I hope you all enjoy trying to make it out of this hell hole.

I am looking for creating a campaign and I have decided that I will make my own twist of the story in Arrowhead. The first mission takes places at the same time as Good Morning Takistan. So I figure I need that vanilla mission merged into my mission to work as a background. Problem is, I can't find the missions for Operation Arrowhead. I have opened vanilla missions for arma 2 with PBO but I can't find missions for Arrowhead.
Where are they located?

We therefore thank him for his confidence, and wish him the best conceivable things for his retirement from ArmA community.
Overview:
---------------------
Bear the brunt of the last German offensive of WWII, loosely based on Operation Nordwind. Direct mortar fire against the incoming German onslaught, scout the overwatch position ahead, and hold the line until reinforcements arrive.

Features:
---------------------
* Intense action on a large scale, you'll need all the firepower you can muster!
* Call in unlimited mortar support adapted from JW Custom's mortar script!
* Pull up to 6 men at a time off the line to assist you in your tasks!
* Immersive detail from the snowfall and foggy breath (via TPW's script) to the various set pieces
* Randomized enemy unit strength and weather, for a different experience each time
* More than one strategy can be used to complete your tasks, tackle it your way

Known Issues:
---------------------
* Hardware strain becomes evident on some lower-end machines as the mission continues, will continue to try to reduce this, suggestions welcome.

Legal:
---------------------
a) This scenario is distributed without any warranty, it may work or even not. If you encounter any bugs feel free to report them at http://dev-heaven.net or at the above-linked forum thread.

The Longest Day (1-58)

An Invasion 1944 CooP mission spanning the Normandy Map. You land on the beaches, secure the defenses, and move inland and take out key objectives. Comes with two versions - one where you spawn on your squad Leader, and one where you do not.

Night Of Nights (1-67)

An Invasion 1944 CooP mission that starts you in England the night before the drop, where you must run to the flagpole at your camp, warp to an airfield of your choosing, and get in a plane. From there you will fly to Normandy and drop into Normandy and complete a variety of objectives going well into D+1. Note - There is purposely not a drop script included so you must coordinate your own drops!

Both Missions end when all zones turn blue (are secured)

Night Of Nights -Public Version- (1-67)

Tweaked version of the mission above for better gameplay in public play (and those who use conflicting mods that cause the C47's to crash upon takeoff). This time around, you spawn in the C47's, nearing the Normandy Coast instead of on the ground in England. Also, new spawn mechanism added where when St. Laurent is Blue, every Allied Spawn point that was spread out across Normandy is moved to a resupply point with ammo and vehicles (Spawns are spread out again when you lose the point though, so hold on to the town!)

NOTES

- Both Missions are made with DAC and completely dynamic. Lag is at a minimal (minus the Night of Nights drop- FPS drops for a little due to the massive scale of the drop)
- Missions made for Dedicated Server usage - cant guarantee stability locally hosted
- Please report all issues, as both missions are still not 100% complete in terms of bugs and stability.

KNOWN ISSUES

- Every 15-20 times I have played through Night of Nights, 2 c47's will collide while flying. I have no idea why this happens, but it does every once in awhile. If you are either of those planes, just respawn and you will be placed somewhere in Normandy. This is a rare issue, but it does rarely happen.
- Sometimes enemies do not engage you (at all), if this happens, abort the server and rejoin (only found this issue on dedicated servers)
- DAC Init error sometimes pops up (Zone names not correct) - I believe this is due to Caching (could not find a zone name error), and it does not effect gameplay in anyway.
- Caching units sometimes leads to zones turning blue when they should be red. This is minor and fixes itself (to display an accurate reading) when a player is within 1200-1500 Meters of the town.

1.0 - initial release

1.01 - Updated DAC Script

1.02 - More updates to the DAC script (mainly more enemies)

1.03 - More Tweaks to the DAC (fixed a spawn error for all), Added Upsmon to defenses, Stronghold Baker Tweaked, AA section 1 tweak

1.04 - Added hand placed AI defenses in towns, polished DAC, added a few more objects, Removed Upsmon (caused crashing and in general did not work as well as just putting down hand placed AI), *Added Night of Nights Pub version*

1.06 - *Biggest Update yet* Added CEP Caching, Polished objects, Reworked Trigger system, Reworked DAC (more enemies, more intelligent spawns, etc), added GeneralCarver's Multiplayer Draw Distance + Grass script, Reworked Night of Nights takeoff system (Should now work with any mod), and a few more things I can not remember at this moment. DAC enemies should now also be able to call in mortar support.

1.061 - Quick DAC fix for Day of Days

Long time pass since I made my first mission for ArmA 2 OA... Morning Heat... with L39ZA Takistany aircraft... and that was a big success, accepted by many who love to fly in ArmA 2. I got the desire to make a campaign with ACR and their L39, but i remember that i have that addon, Footmunch/eddyD F-16 Fighting Falcon, and, after I made a couple "flights", i change my mind... ;) After all, this is one of the best aircraft addon that i tryed, especially because I loved soo much Footmunch aircrafts addons in OFP. I choose Reshmaan Province for this story beacuse the map is big, good for flying, and that have two working large airports... I will probably work on other maps as campaign progresses. The story of the campaign is fictional and all the characters... Honestly, right as I got some idea, i put it in the editor and arrange until I see what it will turn out... :D For now, 3 missions are in progress... but i will put here first mission, which is mostly completed (remains "makeup" and grooming... ;) ), to give you a feeling what is all about...
