TA ( Tactical Assault (http://tactical-assault.com)) is based on Unreal Development Kit technology that will focus on combining tactical gameplay with arcade style and speed; while utilizing the immense power of the UT3 Engine.

It's a new chapter in the legendary Tactical Ops serie, but the devlopment team was forced to choose a different name than Tactical Ops. The reason ... Tactical Ops Assault On Terror (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tactical_Ops) was released as a standalone game, and there where some issues with copyright.

Tactical Assault offers a wide variety of modern weaponry................

Looks ok.. any iron sights in the game or is it a kind of arcade game like UT3?

Well it should be an arcade game, If I remind well Tactical Ops was a really good alternative to Cs on UT99.

No iron sights ingame. Just the good old Tactical Ops gameplay :)

I found that gameplay amusing in 2001-2002 (better than Counter Strike), then I found out about OFP and didn't really look back. It was fun then ... when I was a 16 year old. So I hope gameplay has evolved since the old mod versions (1.6, 2.2 etc) and retail game (3.15).

Im still playing Tactical Ops Assault on Terror and i still like the gameplay. Tried other games, but never get that feeling.

I play CSS and CS but not all the time.. I don't say I hate non realism games.. might give it a shot.. looks really good. Keep us posted here! :D
