I'm running an Athlon 650, Gforce2, XP, 512 ram,and have tried several viedo drivers. Game will run for awhile then freeze up and need to reboot. I get message that video driver was in infinte loop. It says problem was with nv.4, I assume nv is nvidia driver.
Anybody know what the solution for this is?
Thanks

I'm running an AMD Athlon 1.2GHZ, Geforce2, ME, 384 RAM, and I have that same freeze up problem except I dont get that loop message it just freezes. I used to play it when I had 128 megs of RAM but then I installed 256megs more cause it went to slow and now when I play it locks up after like 5 minutes or less of playing and I also have to restart. I dont know what the problem is I need help as well. And my pc CAN handle the extra RAM too.

I have the same d*amn problem!

AMD Athlon 1GHZ, Geforce2, XP, 480 RAM v1.30
I get the loop message. Army Ranger doesn't get it because he's running ME. XP has some bs protection procedure because it doesn't know what to do when this happens (I'm guessing).

Help!! Codemasters!! Someone!! Help!!

Thanks!

Overheating problem? Do other games lock up?

Do you have an VIA chipset? If so, installed the latest BIOS and the latest VIA 4-in-1 drivers?

Are there crash files (flashpoint.rpg and config.bin) created? if so, did you email them to BI as requested in the TROUBLESHOOTING FAQ?

DON NOT update your BIOS, only if you have done it before and know how it's done, if you do in incorectly you will never again use that Mother Board!

Make sure you have the Latest Via 4in1's 4.35 at
http://www.electic.com

and just to clue you in to XP, it only has 49% Driver support at the moment, it should not really be used as a gaming Platform, Windows 98 SE is the most stable gaming Platform and has 98% driver suport
I wont sell XP to any costumers till it improves

would you buy the 1st year production car or Motor cycle?
look at the 2000 Ninja 1200 cc, the dam bike failed to work if you have 5 ml to much oil!

XP is wonderful yes, but don't expect every thing to work 100%

Other games don't freeze, I've got a good cooling fan and nothing overclocked. I do have VIa motherboard though, I'll try the 4 in 1 driver. XP offers to send a crash report to Microsoft, how do I send it to BI?
Thanks
