Holstering Pistol?

So we are making a small mission for my friends and I. When we are using just a pistol with no rifle is there a way we can add a script so we can holster a pistol, and then upholster?

There is a ArmA1 script written by Cheetah that holstered pistols:

Check it out. It may work "out of the box" in A2 or may need some tweaking.

Well we are kindda new to using scripts and all. How to we add them to the mission itself, do we have to use it like an addon or do we put the script itself in them mission?
