i have a map thats around 500 mb it takes about 2and 1\2 minutes too load any segestions, the terrain is 1024 with a city in the middle. i dont think binarizing helped

Binarizing should have made a huge difference to the loading time , if the BinPBO / Binarizing didn't fail half way through due to errors.

when i try to binarize i get a error in about 5 seconds that says binarizing exe has stopped working then it begins to copy all of the layers, 500 mb turns into 3gb when finished, idk why this happens

A terrain that won't binarize has errors - it's that simple... the BinPBO .log is probably the first place to start, along with any actual specific error you get when binPBO fails (though this often just says "error in config.cpp"... which means there IS an error in config.cpp - but isn't very helpful about telling you where I suppose)...
Regardless... you have to find the errors and fix them so your island binarizes properly... for several reasons...
Size... your unbinarised 1024 island is 500mb... for example, my binarized 2048 island is 423mb...
Loading times... your 1024 island takes 2.5 minutes... my 2048 island takes about 30 seconds or less...
Plus, of course - if theres an error significant enough to cause binPBO to fail, it isn't going to go away by itself.... sooner or later it's going to turn up in-game.....

thanks 4 the info that made me feel better that ur huge map loads quick, ill try to figure out what the problem is

I have a map that's bigger, it takes a lot less time - I don't think your binarizing worked... ;)

If you want more detailed answers you're gonna have to ask more detailed questions...
