View Full Version : my Arma 2 ca.pbo has config.bin not config.ppc in p:\ca

Hi,

I have been following the simple tutorial at http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA_2_Terrain_Tutorial
for setting up my P:\ but I get stuck as I don't get config.ppc but config.bin in p:\ca

I have also checked ca.pbo on my old arma 1 cd and that also has config.bin

The strange thing is I went through this previously and I don't remember having this happen, I don't have the original setup due to problems I had with my PC and unable to access windows so having to start an Island from scratch with a new windows install.

I am using PBOView in Windows 7.

I would be grateful for any help with this.

Config.bin is the binarised version of Config.cpp. You'll need to unbinarise it with something like Mikero's Eliteness.

For single file you can use "UNRAP"

but better to go and read about extracting .pbo files the quick way with :

Thanks for the help guys i'll give them a go, what seems strange is that I had .cpp before my system crash and didn't have to go through and unbinarise them. never mind ;)

eu saquei o ArmA2 a pouco tempo e deu me este erro "no entry bin\config.bin/CfgWorlds.West".

eu gostava mesmo de o poder resolver e que eu nao percebi muito do que esta escrito aki em cima e agradecia que me ajudacem ...

I figured the pace LITTLE ArmA2 and a "no entry config.bin bin / CfgWorlds.West" gave me this error.

I really want to solve the power and I did not realize That Much of what is written Up in May and thanked me aki ajudacem ...
