Cannot Run OFP w/ ATI Rage Pro

Ok I have a gateway laptop and im trying to get the game to work using these specs

Pent III 600
160 meg ram
ATI Rage Mobility AGP (Mach 64) 8 meg i believe

I get the same error when i try to run or update the game..

"Operationflashpoint has caused an error in ~DF394B.TMP"

I cannot figure out why? Anyone else has a problem like this?

That particular error is from the SafeDisc copy-protection code.

However, the game requires a video card with at least 16MB of RAM, with one exception -- the Voodoo 2 in 16-bit mode with 8Mb of RAM.

I had a 64mb! Rage Fury Maxx for about a week and it could not run DF-Landwarrior letalone OPF
