muzzle flash on firing weapon

there are some problems with the flash, these were taken in 32-bit on a tnt2 32mb, they are not smooth graphics, and have crappy edges. this is an AK-47, i think there are some like that on other weapons, but its most obvious on this one.

I did see something simaler to this since 1.30. Smoke was doing it, not muzzle flash. Not sure if it was there in 1.2X. I know you say it's not the player skin but did you try it with out that skin loaded?
