Because I didn't know how, I decided to place a proxy weapon on my vehicle model. After much trawling of threads on this forum (thank you people - your solutions have been mine too) I've managed to get the proxy on the vehicle and in game. My problem is the proxy seems to be a static visual placeholder. I expected the weapon to animate according to it's own config, that is I thought the zasleh would ... er "zas" and the ammo belt would rotate etc. but they do not. Some animations I can see how to apply to the proxy in the vehicle LODs (osaHlavne) but not ammo belt rotation for example. So, am I expecting too much of my proxy or am I just not doing it right?
