I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that ArmA2 buildings have some special settings/points defined to allow corner cover and maybe some other MicroAI navigation tweaks. Does anyone know if there is more info available about this, or is this not true? Is there an ArmA2 house MLOD available? (maybe even a step-by-step building setup tutorial like OFP used to have?)

there's no Arma2 building mlod been released yet. i hope they will release something though. atleast one example with all possible features (like the char mlod).
but to answer your other question. yes u need special settings and points. best would be to download the arma 1 mlods and study them in o2. it's pretty obvious how it works when u look at it in o2. for the basics i can only suggest looking at these: http://tactical.*********************************.com/wiki/doku.php?id=ofp:modeling:tutorials
since u want the new arma 2 specific AI features this all may be not what u lookin for but that's all u can learn for now since there's no mlods or documentation on arma 2 buildings yet....hope it helps anyway...

The AI were automatically taking cover and leaning around some ArmA 1 objects of mine. Seems all you need is a geo lod with a cube large enough for the AI to feel as though they're covered. In the case of my object, it was a 2 x 2 meter cube with a little mass. As a test I tried a blank geo lod, the AI no longer took cover behind the object.
