Nice to see BattlEye in the latest beta.

Ive installed the Beta on my server. Is it possible to have BattlEye run on more than one hosting session?

I have 2 separate Arma2 Directories on the HDD.

Yes, of course.

However, make sure you are using the "-BEpath=" command line option to specify separate BE working directories if you are not already using separate profile folders (with "-profiles="), so that the auto-update works flawlessly for each server instance - and yes, even if you 2 separate installations.

great thank you for your reply $able

is this correct?
-BEpath=c:\Arma2-1\BattlEye
-BEpath=c:\Arma2-2\BattlEye

Should work if ArmA 2 has write access to these folders.

BattlEye is broken, randomly kicks players... you'll last for about 30min to 2hrs...

Not here. Works fine and intended in the last couple of days.

Thats problems with latency, with BE timeout kicking in. Was a pain in ArmA but it got better; especially in larger, more intensive missions.

No, it's no longer a problem, because the game's netcode is no longer used.
What you see is most likely the result of game crashes.

So say if I wanted to host off my home computer just to test battleye with the use of Server.cfg and Arma2.cfg...how would I go about doing that?

Target Line:

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -name=TestServer -profiles=BloodxGusher -config=BloodxGusher\Server.cfg -cfg=BloodxGusher\Arma 2.cfg -BEpath=c:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\Arma 2\BattlEye

Something like this ey?
