Glass texture of the sight disturbs the picture. Textures look unnaturally bright and skewed through this sight.

I suggest removing the layer that is supposed to make it look reflective?
And please remove the glow of the green reticule it is very annoying.

It would be nice if the sight was more functional (like Aimpoint)

and by the way, try to correct your rendering aspect as well., looks like you are running 5:4 on a 16:9 display.

I got that without post processing, seemed to me to be sunlight shining on the glass from over my shoulder.

Have to agree that, of all sights available in the game, the kobra is my most loathed. I much prefer iron sights to both the kobra and default eotech holo. This doesn't need to be a problem: the Project '85 Polish rifle's holographic sight is functional and comfortable to use.

The glow on these sights seems to be a large part of the problem. It makes the effective part of the sight so large that it can obscure the enemy totally. I've had a bug with the default eotech where the enemy soldier doesn't appear at all when inside the larger red circle (no pics, unfortunately), completely defeating the object of using optics! They are perfectly visible outside the circle, then, when you move the sight over them, they disappear.

I turned off Post Processing and that glare is still there. And i like Post Processing effects, why should they mess up my sights?

I really hope this issue with sights gets fixed. That glare texture is very annoying.

Light is always around the player (During the day).

So how is a user supposed to engage targets if he can't see though the sight properly?
And there is no Iron sight version of the weapon.

I am sure most real holographic sights have glare filters on them so exactly that does not happen.

i dont have the issue if the sun is up high, or in front of me. In RL? you could put non glare tape over it? Its a gun best used when dark... Or have a hood. maybe some mods take it out?

Sorry if you misunderstood me, Glare Filter removes glare. That is why it is on most holographic sights.

Point being if the light is shining in your sight in the middle of a firefight and user cannot see his intended target because of the glare, it is not practical to do things like go get tape, a hat or a hood or wait until it is dark. I imagine if ones life is at risk it is better to get the tools right as is.

I hope some mod's will fix it if BIS does not.
